AskMeryamThese terms are between you, the practitioner, and Deploy & Enjoy Ltd (company number 17371081) ("we"), the maker of AskMeryam. They apply when you apply for, or hold, a listing in the AskMeryam therapist directory.
What the directory is
A listing is advertising. AskMeryam does not provide therapy, refer clients, assess suitability, or take any part in the relationship between you and a client. Clients choose and contact you directly, and that relationship, including consent, fees, records and safeguarding, is between you and them. We never take a commission or a fee per client.
Who can be listed
- You are registered or accredited with a recognised professional body (such as BACP, UKCP, NCPS, BABCP, HCPC, BPS, COSCA or IACP) and in good standing with it.
- You practise within your competence and in line with your body's ethical framework, and hold professional indemnity insurance.
- You tell us straight away if your registration lapses, is suspended or is subject to conditions.
Verification
We check your registration against your body's public register before approving you, and may check again at any time, at least once a year. We may decline or remove a listing if we cannot verify it, if your registration changes, or if we receive a credible complaint, and we will tell you why where we can.
Your listing
You are responsible for everything in your listing being accurate and not misleading. Do not promise outcomes or cures, give clinical advice in the listing, or make claims your body's advertising guidance would not allow. Keep your details current. You give us permission to show your listing in the app and on askmeryam.com while it is active.
Fees
- Your first month is free, then £14.99 a month.
- Billing is handled by Stripe. Your subscription renews monthly until you cancel, which you can do at any time from the link in your receipt; your listing stays up until the end of the month you have paid for.
- If a payment fails or you cancel, your listing is hidden automatically. Reactivate any time.
- We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change in price.
Liability
We work to keep the directory accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". We are not responsible for the services you provide, and you are responsible for your own professional conduct and insurance. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Your data
How we handle the information you give us is set out in our privacy policy. Ask us at any time to remove your listing and your data.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
